Responsibilities:
Boston Financial institution is seeking a Senior Client Service Associate who will be responsible for delivering exceptional client service to the firm's fixed income clients. In addition, this individual will be responsible for managing the onboarding of fixed income accounts as well as facilitating changes to existing accounts. The Senior Client Service Associate will work as part of the fixed income client service administration and closely with portfolio management, trading, and business support teams to ensure timely and accurate completion of duties while upholding the highest standard of client service.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with portfolio managers, client service staff, and other business support functions to support clients, responding to their needs with the appropriate level of urgency and detail
  • Manage client onboarding, transition and termination
  • Partner with business support groups to facilitate resolution of outstanding client issues such as regulatory, guidelines, operational and billing
  • Assist with completion of client reporting including recurring deliverables, investment management questionnaires (RFPs, RFIs, DDQs), and other ad-hoc reporting requests from clients
  • Assist with Salesforce reporting, contacts and campaigns, including contact lists for all client correspondence
  • Develop an excellent understanding of the firm's products, market environment, and competitive landscape
  • Continually look for opportunities to add value to existing processes

Qualifications:
Position Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree with 4-6 years of experience within asset management supporting Client Services and/or Distribution efforts
  • Ability to assess and anticipate current and future client needs and effectively drive priorities forward
  • Solid business judgement, with a passion for fostering client relationships and upholding the integrity of the firm
  • Proven experience building strong working relationships with investment professionals and subject matter experts across the business including finance, legal, and compliance to properly service clients
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate effectively and confidently with team members and other groups at firm
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Proactive in asking questions and proposing solutions
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently, balance multiple priorities and shift priorities as needed
  • Strong work ethic with focus on meeting deadlines and objectives
  • Advanced computer proficiency with MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel)
