Responsibilities:

Actively seeking a Client Engagement Specialist to join a rapidly growing Boston financial institution! The Client Engagement Specialist is responsible for building and delivering exceptional client service to the firm's intermediary and consultant clients. The individual in this role work closely with senior sales staff, engage directly with clients, and develop partnerships with national accounts, consultant relations, and other internal groups to provide the best client experience. The Client Engagement Specialist will need to leverage their knowledge of various intermediary clients and identify opportunities to expand client relationships.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Support National Account and Consultant Relations Managers with service, prospecting & planning efforts for firm's largest and most complex relationships
  • Assigned coverage of a number of clients that generally require only reactive engagement
  • Build relationships with clients to understand client mandates and reporting needs
  • Keep abreast of key internal activities (i.e. new product launches, fund actions, etc.) and ensure that senior sales staff is aware of (and implementing) new policies, procedures, etc.
  • Support ongoing efforts to "institutionalize" National Accounts knowledge, by creating and maintaining robust resources & cheat sheets which can easily be accessed by both National Accounts & Field Sales
  • Support the tactical execution of defined distribution campaigns
  • Execute client research and operational tasks
  • Provide pre and post-sales, operational and relationship management support
  • Lead activities for client conference calls and on-site visits for investment and due diligence reviews
  • Offer general organization support based on client needs and/or defined requests
  • Maintain data quality and sales pipeline hygiene
  • Coordinate internal resources as necessary
Qualifications:

Position Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5-7 years experience financial services, wealth management, or investment management
  • FINRA Series 7 and 63
  • Knowledge of traditional wealth management clients typically covered by National Accounts team (4 wire houses, LPL & Raymond James)
  • Excellent organizational skills with consistent attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively to meet tight deadlines
  • A service-oriented attitude with the ability to create, build, and maintain positive working relationships
  • Ability to present and interact with clients and senior level executives
  • Salesforce.com knowledge a plus
