Boston investment firm partners with and provides support to nonprofit organizations that work with young adults and families in cities where their staff lives and works, engages with employees in becoming participants in their communities focusing on increasing diversity of those underrepresented in the investment management business including undergraduate intern programs.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support, including composing and editing correspondence, coordinating meetings/ calls, arranging travel, and organizing conference registrations
  • Assist with managing and tracking invoices, expenses, and checks with their accompanying documentation
  • Manage calendars for internal and external meetings including those for external partners
  • Create event descriptions and online events on an internal platform to market educational and volunteer opportunities offered
  • Provide administrative support for the undergraduate internship program
  • Coordinate schedule, content, and membership of the employee welcome program
  • Track both employee and company charitable giving donations
  • Coordinate and assist in internal and external event management including tracking volunteers, waivers, communications, room booking, and catering
  • Maintain contacts of nonprofit partners with their records of correspondence, reporting and donations as well as track employee and company charitable giving
  • Assist with the maintenance of team documentation and presentations for events
  • Liaise between multiple departments to ensure timely communication of information
Position Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of relevant work experience
  • Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
  • Keen attention to detail with exceptional organizational skills
  • Works effectively and efficiently in situations without clear rules and implements solutions without waiting for direction
  • Assumes responsibility of tasks proactively
  • Ability to multitask multiple projects and deadline with ease
  • Trustworthy and able to manage confidential information
  • Highly collaborative with multiple levels of management and peers
