Operational Due Diligence Senior Associate ($120,000)



The Operational Due Diligence team is responsible for performing operational due diligence reviews on investment managers. This team is responsible for performing detailed operational reviews on prospective and existing manager relationships. This team also plays an integral role in ongoing due diligence oversight and monitoring of investment managers. The team is looking to add an experienced Senior Associate, Operational Due Diligence to this team.

The responsibilities of the Operational Due Diligence Senior Associate are:
· Perform initial due diligence reviews of investment managers, as well as ongoing monitoring
· Conduct interviews with COOs, CFOs, CCOs, CTOs and other operations personnel, as well as a review infrastructure, controls, compliance and valuation processes
· Review and engage with third parties, including fund administrators, IT vendors, Exam Regulators, etc.
· Prepare detailed operational due diligence assessment reports
· Keep abreast of market developments, industry trends and regulatory matters
· Aid with the third party (auditor, administrator) verification process
· Participate in follow-up conversations with investment managers for deficiencies noted
Qualifications:
The qualifications needed of the Operational Due Diligence Senior Associate are:

· BS/BA or equivalent
· 5 to 8 years of work experience
· Familiar with various types of fund of funds (including primary, co-investment, real assets, and credit products)
· Experience performing operational due diligence on investment managers required; global experience preferred; working knowledge of global compliance regulations a plus
· Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
· Strong organizational and time management skills
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to formulate and support a documented thesis
· Well organized and detail oriented; ability to execute with accuracy
