How does the process work?
Start the process by e-mailing to us your resume as a Word document attachment. A consultant will contact you to schedule an appointment. Once you visit our office you will fill out an application and interview with our consultant team, we will identify your strengths, skills, professional interests and goals. We will screen and identify appropriate open positions and introduce you to a variety of Boston employers.
Is there a fee for this service?
No. There is not a fee to you the candidate for finding you a job. All fees are paid by the employers.
Will you help me with me resume?
Yes! We are skilled and experienced in resume preparation and will offer sound advice and suggestions on refining your resume so that it best represents your skill set.
Will you help me prepare for my interviews?
Yes! We provide each Fanning candidate with an "Interview Tips" packet containing everything you need to manage the interview process. Before each interview your consultant will walk you through the entire process. Our goal at all times is for the first interview to lead to your second interview and, eventually, to a job offer.
As a recent college graduate can you help me find a job?
Yes! We find positions for many recent graduates. It is, however, particularly helpful if you have had strong summer work experience and/or college internships. If you do not have work experience, the process may take longer, and we would direct you to our temporary staffing affiliate, Comforce, where you can gain this valuable work experience.
How long has Fanning been in business?
Since 1968.
My computer skills need work. Can you still help me find a job?
Yes! We offer free tutorials on the necessary software needed for your job search.
Can I do temporary work while I’m looking for a job?
Yes! Comforce will help you work on temporary assignments while you interview for your permanent job. Many of these assignments can also be temporary-to-permanent.
