Whether you are a recent grad or a seasoned professional, searching for a job can be a draining experience. It requires a lot of time, planning and organization. To make the process a little easier, take a look at these job search tools:

LinkedIn: If you do not already have a profile on LinkedIn, then get going! Having a complete profile helps you to stand out to employers. A good LinkedIn profile shows that you are open to sharing your professional background. It allows employers to find you and review your experience without you having to send a resume.

Glassdoor: Glassdoor is a great site for job seekers. Not only do you have access to current job openings but you are also able to read reviews of companies, salary information and even interview questions asked of previous applicants. You can look up specific companies of interest or perform general job searches.

Alerts: Alerts save you the time and effort of performing certain searches. To keep an eye on your personal brand, you'll want to set up a Google alert for your name. You'll be notified whenever anything about you shows up online. You can also set up Google alerts for specific companies, industries or careers that are of interest to you. Indeed also has an alerts feature. Rather than searching each day, simply save a few of the searches you have been doing and you'll receive an email whenever a new job is posted that matches your criteria.
